Ozone Disinfection Systems
Why Use Ozone?

Ozone is rapidly emerging as the most efficient and ecologically sound oxidant to treat both organic and inorganic substances. A fast-acting and effective treatment technology, ozone is now used in a variety of water treatment applications. Best known for its superior disinfection capability, ozone has been used in the European municipal water industry for over 100 years. Ozone treatment is becoming widely used for potable water in North America--now the most rapidly growing market.

Ozone is one of the strongest commercially available oxidizers, making it popular for primary disinfection of potable water as well as for color removal and organic removal in wastewater applications.

Ozone systems for Large Capacity Applications

Our large-scale ozone generators are designed customer-specifically on the basis of standardized ozone modules, mounted on frames and factory-tested before being delivered to the customer. By participating in the factory tests, our customers gain the assurance that they will receive a functioning and efficient system.

Our ozone generators are the overwhelming choice of design engineers and end-users worldwide who require reliable, efficient production of large quantities of ozone to meet their process needs. This is because our generators have been engineered from the ground up with customer requirements in mind. The result is the most compact cost-effective and reliable ozone generation system available.
For individual unit ozone capacities beginning at 15.3 kg/h and continuing to more than 200 kg/h, there is a standard models to meet your needs. In addition, custom generators can be manufactured to produce larger quantities of ozone if required. Whether the challenge involves drinking water treatment chemical oxidation, bleaching or pollution control, our generators can provide the solution.


Unique design. Unique performance.
Two key features separate our generators from all others. These include use of special electrode/dielectric technology and proprietary high performance variable frequency power supply technology. These features combine to produce an ozone generator with unmatched reliability, production flexibility and efficiency, all in a compact package that minimizes space requirements and associated facility construction costs.
Our ozone generators are also unique in that they are available factory preassembled and tested prior to delivery. This provides our customers with the peace of mind that their ozone plant will start up on time and perform according to design, every time.
Ozone meters for processing of deionized water

IN USA manufactures ozone meters, which are able measure ozone in both gas and liquid phases such as those in the processing of deionized water. Our ozone meters concentrations ranging from ppb levels to as high as 900 g/m3. Single-channel and multi-channel models are available - all models use the proven UV (ultraviolet) absorption technique to make the measurement. UV absorption is an absolute measurement, is selective to ozone, and provides a fast, reliable and stable indication of ozone concentration. The EPA, ASTM, NIST, and IOA recognize this technique as the reference method for ozone in air measurements.
Some ozone meter models are designed for ozone measurement in ultra pure and deionized water (or other liquids) and can be installed in-line in a full-flow, single pass or a re-circulating stream such as those necessary for the production of deionized water. Other models are ideal for harsh and dirty applications such as wastewater or other liquids with large amounts of particulates. In this case, a side-stream measurement is ideal for sampling.






Dissolved ozone meters

Whether the application involves the measurement of dissolved ozone in ultra pure deionized water or in wastewater, IN USA has several dissolved ozone analyzers to meet the requirements. IN USA's dissolved ozone analyzers measure ozone from ppb levels up to 150 ppm or more. Some models use IN USA's patented dual-path UV measurement technique, which has revolutionized ozone measurement by virtually eliminating the need for a reference measurement

High Purity Water Ozone Systems
Modern high purity water networks are mostly constructed as closed loop systems in which the water is pumped through one or more circulation loops to different use points.
Water not used is returned to a storage tank located in the system before the distribution pump.
Make-up water from ion-exchangers, reverse osmosis units, etc., is fed directly into the system and is controlled by the level in the storage tank. This arrangement allows the water system to meet peak water requirements from the storage tank and, at the same time, minimize the production capacity and size of expensive pretreatment equipment.
Such networks are susceptible to bacteria growth, especially when production is at a standstill and there is no exchange of water in the system. Measures must be taken to prevent contamination. With this in mind, the proliferation of bacteria colonies can be easily avoided by continually dosing the system with ozone from an electrolytic ozone generator.
Ideally, the electrolytic ozone generator should be connected to the loop system on the return line near the storage tank.
Installation is very simple. A low flow sidestream taken from the return line feeds the electrolytic ozone generator. This water is ozonated via a hydrogen-oxygen dissociation process and then is discharged as pure, ozonated water to the main return line where it is mixed with the bulk of the return line water.
In order to attain maximum exposure, with some pipe diameters it is recommended to install a static mixer or some other means of causing flow turbulence to ensure that the two water streams are thoroughly mixed.
